Yes, that is an option
A family favorite. We eat here quite frequently. They have new menu items and I tried the yakisoba and really enjoyed it. Make sure you are wearing warm clothes, it can be chilly inside.
I decided to try this place again customer service isn’t that friendly, I ordered some stuff the guy said it’d be 15 minutes been waiting a long time and it is overly expensive for food I could go to other restaurants that are better and more friendly with customers and the fact a guy who ordered to go that came in after me got his stuff before me and that kinda stuff doesn’t sit with me. I probably won’t ever recommend this place to anyone else ever the fact that you take care of the people before someone who ordered before and even does a tip. I honestly hate writing bad reviews but waiting a long time about almost 1 hour.
The food was insanely good and the customer service was great. Very kind owners.
Wide array of menu options both food and drink. The wait was a little long, bit the outdoor patio has very nice with many picnic tables and umbrellas!
Milk shakes burgers onion rings and variety of Korean BBQ foods... Plus toss in some teriyaki... Yum!!!
Great smells and everyone was observing social distancing, I didn't eat there but it looked good
Or if you prefer, teriyaki, pho, fish & chips....
The oyster burger is really good, and I strongly recommend the huckleberry milkshake!
Went here after a weekend of overnight hiking and was so glad I liked this place! I ordered the mushroom and swiss burger with a huckleberry shake. Super good and their crinkle fries were awesome! I would for sure go there again.
Delicious! Great service, little pricy but worth it to support local business.
Very quick to get our order finish, and the meal was great. I give high regards to the bulgogi burger.
Love their teriyaki chicken! New owners are very friendly.
I think i have done maybe 1 review in my life but this place deserves the 5! The food is amazing, the service is great! What more could you ask for?! Thank you all so much from 3 hungry EMTs!
This is a great place. Friendly, helpful service, and excellent classic drive-through burgers (Irecommend the double bacon burger) and fries. They also have delicious shakes and ice cream. You can eat inside, outside, or take the food to go. One thing to be aware of is they have no vegetarian or meat substitute burger options, in case the impacts members of your party. Good place to stop for lunch, dinner, or a treat as you go through Hoodsport, WA.
Awesome burgers!!! Little bit of a wait for food but well worth the wait. Can't wait to get again!!!
First time visiting and won't be back. We ordered kids meals, a bacon cheeseburger and a double cheeseburger. The burgers tasted old and the bun was stale, the fries were frozen fries and unsalted.
Try the teriyaki or the bulgogi burger.
I believe they have new owners. My brother and I stop here when we are in the area, always been good in the past. This trip I ordered the oyster basket, my brother the oyster burger. Both of us are suffering from food poisoning, the only thing we ate in common....the oysters. Tried to call yesterday and was put on eternal hold before I was able to tell them what was up. Will pass by next time.
The burgers and onion rings.... and let's not forget the shakes!! Delicious 🤗😍😷 and anti-covid friendly 🤔😏😷
Some good original flavors. The steak tasted good, but it could have been a bit more tender.
We stop everytime we drive home. GF buns and awesome burgers.
Quick bite. The ice cream hit the spot. Also saw egg rolls so had to get them too. Nice folks and fast service
Good teriyaki chicken. Gyoza very good. Very large selection of items from burgers to phoa. Large portion of chicken and rice. Salad very good. Staff very friendly and personable. Prices are right on. Just think what you pay for food in downtown Seattle. Nice place in Hoodsport WA. Stop by try it for your self.
Flipping perfect, even during a pandemic.
Tasteless crinkle-cut fries like you get in grade school, chicken burger could ostensibly come from the same school cafeteria, burger meat must be on a diet because it's the thinnest I've seen, cutest little piece of anemic tomato, all priced like it's Red Robin-level cuisine.
They have the best burger and fries!
Great food after a long hike
This family run restaurant uses recipes handed down for generations and always makes everything from scratch while maintaining prices on par (or under) those of other Korean restaurants. Be sure to bring an appetite as even their smaller dishes are substantial. I've been going there for years and never been disappointed.
It took a while to get our food but I think it was worth it and was delicious
I had a bacon cheeseburger. It was excellent- perfectly seasoned and juicy. I will definitely go back! The couple who run the restaurant were very nice, too.
Food was average, good burger but the cheese wasn't melted completely. All in all not bad
Food was great! Everything was hot and fresh. Fish and chips were crispy and tasty. And the people were extremely nice. Definitely recommend this place.
Food is good. Best coffee. But the place is too small. last time we end up sitting outside...
The wait takes a little bit but as long as you don't mind that the food is pretty good.
The shrimp basket is about as good as anywhere else. No complaints. The burgers looked really good, and I might try that next time I'm in town.
Best burger I've had in a really long time
I'd give more stars if we actually we're able to eat here. We spent more than 30min in line, 10 of which were spent at the front of the line. They fell behind on shakes, so they turned around without saying anything to us and tried to catch up. I'm sure the food here is great - just expect a leisurely wait if there's a line. I hope they get more staff soon!
Was there with with 3 nephews and 1 niece. My 18 yr old nephew went up to get more food because the portions were small for the high price. The cashier then proceeded to ignore him till some other people came up behind my nephew. The cashier then started yelling at my nephew telling him to leave. So instead of staying and ordering more food we left. I would not recommend going unless you only want 1 order.
Service here is friendly and quick. That said, for a place that's called The Burger Stand, I don't recommend that you come here for burgers or fries. The burgers across the street at Model T are better. They also offer good ice cream, but there are more exotic flavors available at the Hoodsport Coffee Co down 101 a couple hundred feet. The thing that makes this tiny restaurant worth visiting if you're in the area is the teriyaki and gyoza. Call ahead for fastest service or for take-out.
Fries could have used more salt, and the burgers bun was smashed, which looked intentional, so if that's your thing than they did a solid job of pressing it down. Otherwise it tasted as expected. this is a burger stand after all. So I expected a burger stand burger. Pretty good, if a little pricey.
Amazing food. Great shakes. Good service! Family friendly!!
Expect to pay more for less. Food itself is good but the shakes aren't that great. For 5.99 you get a very small shake that's more liquid than ice cream. Felt like i was drinking a smoothie.
Great Mom and Pop place! Had wanted a burger and tots after a long hike, but the winter specials, Korean Ramen and Yakisoba (with chicken), piqued my interest. The Korean Ramen was exactly what I wanted - just the right amount of spice and hot enough (temp wise) to warm me! Plenty of food and reasonably priced - got three meals out of my bounty! Owners are very friendly and they stayed open a little later to serve us. Small inside dining, but lots of space outside when the weather is nice. Definitely recommend and will go back to try the burgers (no tots served here).
Not all that great. Waited way too long for my meal and when I got it, it looked and tasted like it had been under the warmer for several hours. Gave me the second star for having to deal with the reprocussions of covid-19. Otherwise would have only gotten one star.
Great food and nice servers. We were looking for a Korean restaurant for brunch in Lynnwood and came across this place. Plenty of selection in the menu and the banchan were all very fresh and good variety. Very friendly and helpful servers. We went to a show in Everett and came back for dinner with another guest. Well be back for sure.
Pretty standard roadside burger joint. Took one star off due to long wait time.
Great people and service, loved the burgers and fries
Very good food... Will return
Would give 0 stars if possible. I mentioned I wanted fries with my burger three times on the phone because he refused to acknowledge me. Then again that I wanted it to be a meal before hanging up. I paid 20 dollars for two terrible burgers and then five more dollars for forgotten soggy/wet fries. The man was incredibly rude to me and so unpleasant. Poor customer service skills. Would have been fine if he wouldn’t have been such a jerk and the food wasn’t so undercooked.
Good burgers! Nice owners. Try the bulgolgi burger.
